Tips on how to survive quarantine reading

I hope you are all keeping safe during this pandemic. I thought I would share my top 5 tips to help you with your quarantine reading, to ensure we all get through this together.







This time can either be perfect to catch up on the pile of books on your ‘To read List’ or even to go back and read some of your old favourites. But it can also be a time where your mental health takes a bit of a hit and it can be hard to set aside an area for reading when you are in the same place day an night with no variation.

Tip 1.
If you have a balcony, terrace, or backyard doing some reading outside may be beneficial. Letting the fresh air touch your skin can help to reinvigorate you.

Tip 2. Reading in the same spot for hours on end can become stagnant. Doing some exercises can be or stretching can give your muscles the break they need.

Tip 3. If your mind is having a hard time focusing on what you are reading, listening to white noise such as rain while reading helps to improve your focus and reading.

Tip 4. Make sure you have a comfy chair. Ensuring that your new reading area has all the tools to help you achieve the most out if your reading time.

Tip 5. Read what you love. You make the best out of what you are reading do let yourself fall into the stories that the author has telling you.
